Kirk R. Bliss, DO

Dr. Bliss is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. He graduated from the University of Health Science College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Bliss started at West Wichita Family Physicians in 2005.

Joe D. Davison, MD

Dr. Davison was raised in Alva, Oklahoma. He received his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma, graduating in 1981. In 1984 he completed his family practice residency at St. Joseph Medical Center in Wichita. He began his career in medicine the same year at West Wichita Family Physicians. He is board certified in Family Medicine.

Larry A. Derksen, DO

Dr. Larry Derksen has practiced medicine with West Wichita Family Physicians since 1993. He is a graduate from The University of Health Science College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his family medicine residency at Via Christi Regional Medical Center. Dr. Derksen is board certified in Family Medicine through the American Board of Family Medicine.

Rick W. Friesen, MD

Dr. Friesen has practiced family medicine for over twenty years. He started with West Wichita Family Physicians in 2003. He completed his residency training through the University of Kansas School of Medicine here in Wichita at Via Christi Regional Medical Center. Dr. Friesen is board certified with the American Board of Family Medicine.

Robert  Gonzalez, MD

Dr. Gonzalez was born and raised in Wichita, KS. He received his medical degree from the University of Kansas, graduating in 1995. He attended St. Francis Hospital for his family practice residency. He began medical work in 1998 in Winfield, KS and moved to Wichita in 2002. He is board certified Family Medicine and a member of the AAFP.

Kris L. Goodnight, MD

Dr. Goodnight received her medical degree from the University of Kansas and completed her residency at Via Christi Regional Medical Center. She is board certified through the American Board of Family Medicine and has been practicing for over ten years

Rebecca L. Green, MD

Dr. Green was raised in Wichita, KS. She graduated from Wichita High School East as validictorian. She subsequently attended Taylor University graduating with a BS in Mathematics. In 2001, she received her medical degree from the University of Kansas. She completed her family practice residency at St. Joseph Medical Center here in Wichita. She was awarded Outstanding First Year Resident, Oustanding Second Year Resident and the 2001-2002 Resident Teacher Award. She is board certified in Family Medicine.

Sheryl R. Hemmen, MD

Dr. Hemmen graduated summa cum laude from Kansas Newman College in 1991. She received her medical degree from the University of Kansas and completed residency in Family Practice at Wesley in Wichita. She is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Hemmen practiced in Andale, KS from 1998 until 2010 when she transferred her practice to WWFP.

Mark A. Hilger, MD

Dr. Hilger was born and raised in Colwich, KS. He received his medical degree from the University of Kansas, graduating in 1994. He attended Via Christi St. Joseph for his family practice residency. He began medical work in 1997 at Lyons, KS until 2001 then came to West Wichita Family Physicians. He is board certified in Family Medicine and a member of Amecian Academy of Family Physicians.

Paul  W. Huser, MD

Dr. Huser was born in Wichita, Kansas at McConnell Air Force Base. After his father retired from the Air Force his family returned to Wichita in time for him to start middle school. He has been part of this community ever since. He received his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine Wichita campus in 1991. He completed his family practice residency program in 1994. Dr. Huser then served his country as a physician in the U.S. Air Force at McConnell AFB and achieved the rank of Major. Following this his medical career has been continuously based in Wichita. Dr. Huser is Board Certified in Family Medicine.

D. Scott Kardatzke, MD

Dr. Kardatzke has practiced medicine at West Wichita Family Physicians since completing his family practice residency at Via Christi-St. Joseph. He is board certified in Family Medicine and a member of the Kansas Academy of Family Physicians and the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Kimberly D. Kenas, DO

Dr. Kenas started her practice at West Wichita Family Physicians in 2004. She graduated from Tabor College with high honors in 1996. She then attended the University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine graduating Magna Cum Laude with high honors on clinical rotations. She went on to complete her family practice residency at Via Christi through the University of Kansas School of Medicine. She is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

David K. Lauer, MD

Dr. Lauer joined West Wichita Family Physicians in 1991. He completed his residency at Via Christi after graduating medical school at the University of Kansas. He is board certified in Family Medicine.

William  C. Loewen, MD

Dr. Loewen was one of the first physicians at West Wichita Family Physicians. He has practiced medicine for over thirty five years. He completed medical school at the University of Kansas. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Michael G. Ludlow, MD

Dr. Ludlow was born in St. Louis and raised in Kansas City. He received his undergraduate degree from Newman University, and his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine. He did his family practice residency training at St. Francis hospital, and was awarded First Year Resident of the Year, and was the Chief Resident in his third year. He has practiced with the West Wichita Family Physicians since 1985. He is board certified in Family Medicine, and does hospitalist work for the group in addition to his office practice. He is a charter member of the West Wichita Rotary Club, and has been a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton parish until this year when he moved to the new St. Catherine of Sienna parish on north Ridge Rd.

Stan A. Messner, MD

Dr. Messner graduated from the University of Kansas and completed his residency in Family Medicine at Via Christi. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Todd A. Miller, MD

Dr. Miller was born and raised in Great Bend. He received his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine, graduating in 1981. He attended St. Joseph Medical Center in Wichita for his family medicine residency. He began medical work in 1984 at Atchison, KS and joined West Wichita Family Physicians in 1987. He is board certified in Family Medicine.

Tobie R. Morrow, DO

Dr. Morrow joined West Wichita Family Physicians in 2001. Dr. Morrow graduated from Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency through the University of Kansas School of Medicine at Via Christi Regional Medical Center. Dr. Morrow is board certified with the American Board of Family Medicine.

Ronald J. Reichenberger, MD

Graduating from the University of Kansas, Dr. Reichenberger started practicing family medicine at West Wichita Family Physicians in 1992. He is board certified in Family Medicine.

Gary W. Reiswig, MD

Dr. Gary Reiswig received his medical degree from the University of Kansas in 1990. He completed his family medicine residency at Via Christi St. Francis, and that same year he started building his practice at West Wichita Family Physicians. Dr. Reiswig is board certified through the American Board of Family Medicine.

Jeffrey S. Reiswig, MD

Dr. Jeffrey Reiswig started his practice in 1989 at West Wichita Family Physicians. He is board certified in Family Medicine. He graduated from the University of Kansas and completed residency at Via Christi Regional Medical Center in Wichita.

David A. Robl, MD

Dr. Robl is a long time physician member of West Wichita Family Physicians. He is board certified with the American Board of Family Medicine. He completed his medical education through the University of Kansas School of Medicine and has practiced medicine for over thirty years.

Edward J. Weippert, MD

Dr. Weippert is one of the first physicians to practice at West Wichita Family Physicians. He has over thirty five years of family medicine experience. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Yao Y. Yang, MD

Dr. Yang received his medical degree from the University of Washington Medical Center. He then completed family medicine residency at Via Christi through the University of Kansas School of Medicine. He started practicing at West Wichita Family Physicians the same year he completed his residency. He is board certified in Family Medicine.
